I began the study in Ephesians 3 at verse 14 last week (August 5). I suspected time would not allow me to get through the study of verses 14-15 plus the prayers. It did not. I completed the study of vv. 14-15, so this Sunday (August 12) I will continue in Ephesians 3 and focus on vv. 16-21. There are 3 prayers contained within vv. 16-19. I will concentrate on these prayers, looking at each one individually.
Last week, I worked on the theme, the Posture of Prayer. I explained that Jesus taught us how to pray, but God's Word also teaches us the posture we are to take for prayer.
This week, the actual prayers. There is something common in each prayer. I hope everyone will see this common point and understand how critical this element is. See you Sunday!
Oh, yeah, and we come to the Lord's Table and share in His Body & Blood on Sunday, too. A special treat together.
