Easter is always an exciting time. The day begins with a Sunrise Breakfast - built for those who want to sleep in! Serving breakfast, free of charge, from 8:30AM to 9:15AM. Then we transition into our Easter Worship Service. The Praise Team is leading us in music. We will continue using the Heidelberg Catechism as our theme, but we are breaking out of sequence and covering Lord's Day 17. So, note the scripture that goes with this Lord's Day, rather than the next one in our regular series.
Lord's Day 17 covers the point of the Resurection of Jesus and how that benefits us. Yeah, I know that sounds like it is all about us, but we have to keep in mind that scripture agrees with me when I say that Jesus' resurrection was all about God and to God's glory.
Okay, having said that, we dive into some scripture to discover what the resurrection means to us.

Here is the Q&A for this Sunday:
Q. How does Christ's resurrection benefit us?
A. First, by his resurrection he has overcome death, so that he might make us share in the righteousness he obtained for us by his death.
Second, by his power we too are already raised to a new life.
Third, Christ's resurrection is a sure pledge to us of our blessed resurrection.
